Call it blasphemous filth; hide it, burn it and bury the ashes, but you can’t dismiss it as mere pornography. There is entirely too much too think about in The Wet Nurse, too many looming threats to our precious illusions as thinking, breeding animals, for it to simply titillate. For all its soaring cosmic horror, The Wet Nurse is an elegantly intimate story––as intimate as a kiln, relentlessly turning up the heat… not to divert or destroy, but to transform.

FROM THE PUBLISHER:
24 pages of gorgeous color comics by the master of Lovecraftian art, Mike Dubisch!
The story included in this publication was originally submitted to Heavy Metal magazine, but never made it to print due to the change in management at the magazine. Years passed and the pages were thought to be lost by the creator, until recently when the original files were uncovered. We are extremely honored to have the privilege to offer for the first time in print Mike Dubisch's The Wet Nurse.
Cody Goodfellow's insightful foreword introduces the story, and an introspective afterword by Mike explains the history behind the story. The orginal ending is also included in this special edition.
